Police donate £300 to children’s charity

Lewes police have donated £300 to the Anne Bickmore Children’s Fund (ABC), a charity based in Peacehaven which raises money for disadvantaged children in the area.

Chairman Anne Bickmore said: “We are very grateful for the support from Sussex Police which will enable us to take under privileged children on an educational nature day in 2016.”

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.
