SUSSEX Police are appealing for information about a second man who they believe was involved in the Texaco service station robbery on Sunday January 1.
Two men entered the store at around 6.50pm, one of whom threatened and cut the cashier with a knife, before making off with cash, cigarettes and alcohol.
Police attended and stopped two men near the scene but one of them ran off and has not been found yet.
The other man was arrested on suspicion of robbery, has been charged and is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court this morning (3 January).
Detective sergeant Suzy Joseph from East Sussex CID said: “We are keen to locate the second suspect who is described as white and between 5ft8 to 5ft10.”

The cashier was taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
