Police identify woman who died after Mayfield crash

A 65-year-old woman who died following a collision in Mayfield last week has been named.

Carolyn Freedman of West Street, Mayfield, passed away in hospital after she was involved in a three-vehicle collision at Argos Hill on Thursday, January 14.

A 27-year-old woman from Hailsham was also taken to hospital with serious injuries and has since been discharged.

The collision took place at around 6.15pm.
