Police incident at university campus in Brighton
An incident occurred on the Sussex University campus in Brighton between police officers and students.

Two students were filmed with police in a video that has been shared across social media.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said the video clips ‘do not show the full circumstances of the entire incident’ and two officers had been assaulted after a small group had ‘become hostile’ when officers asked the gathering to disperse.
Sussex University said, “We immediately shared this footage and raised serious concerns with Sussex Police as a matter of urgency. We remain in contact on this.”
