Police would like to return a bike stolen from Worthing seafront to its rightful owner.

The theft of the black mountain bike was captured on CCTV in Marine Parade, Worthing, shortly after 11am last Wednesday (May, 31), police said.

The offender was seen to wrench the bike from a lamppost which it had been padlocked to, however it was later recovered by PCSOs in the town centre, a spokesperson said.

“The theft has not been reported but police would like to return the bike to its rightful owner,” the spokesperson said.
