Police make an appeal following road rage attack.

An appeal has been made by police after a road rage attack in North Bersted.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw an assault on the rider of a 50cc moped by the driver of a light blue Vauxhall Corsa car on the A259 Chichester Road.

It is alleged the moped rider was being tailgated by the driver of the Corsa.

An argument took place between the two men which resulted in both drivers pulling over. The moped rider was threatened and punched in the face by the motorist.

The attack happened at the junction with Babsham Lane junction about 3pm on Monday, June 13.
