Police name van driver killed in A21 crash

THE driver who died after his Vauxhall Vivaro van collided with a Daf lorry on the A21 near Sedlescombe on Friday (September 19) has been named.

Sussex Police have identified the man as 27-year-old Scott Wickens, from Exeter Close, Tonbridge, Kent.

The driver of the lorry, a 41-year-old man from Slough, was airlifted to King’s College Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Police are keen to speak to any witnesses to the collision itself or the driving of either vehicle prior to the collision and would urge anyone with information to email [email protected] or phone 101, quoting Operation Standean.
