Police name woman who died in A27 collision
POLICE have released the name of the victim of a fatal collision on the A27 at Castle Goring on Sunday (December 11).
Lauren Smee, 21, of Spitalfield Lane, Chichester, died at Worthing Hospital shortly after sustaining serious injuries when her Ford KA car collided head-on with a BMW.
The driver of the BMW, a 49-year-old man from Hastings, was also taken to Worthing Hospital with a serious injury. He remains in hospital with a fractured ankle and fractured spine.
