So far, two items from this large haul have been positively identified from this website as coming from a burglary in West Sussex, and a further 19 items, having been identified by the victim of crime as stolen during a burglary in Kent earlier this year.

If anyone is able to identify their property, they are asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 60 70 999 and ask that their details are added to serial 585 of August 15, or, use the 'Email a claim' facility within the listing.

Detective Inspector Jeff Riley said: "As part of an ongoing investigation we do want to establish the true owners of this property. It may hold sentimental value or have been in a family's possession for many years. I would ask people to find the time to look at the site and contact us if they feel that the property may be theirs."
