Police offer homesecurity advice
Police are advising people to improve home security to help deter burglars over the winter period.
A spokesman said: “There are some crime prevention techniques that you can easily adopt, for example, leave a light on in your home, if your curtains are not drawn and no car on the drive, these are obvious signs that nobody is at home.”
