Police probe caravan fires

A caravan measuring about 10m by 3m has been severely damaged by a fire at the Riverside Caravan Centre in Bognor Regis. The cause of the blaze just after 7.45pm on Sundayis being investigated by the fire and rescue service and the police.

Gas cylinders on the premises had to be cooled by firefighters as a precaution.

n A separate incident saw a caravan at the National Trust car park in Park Lane, Slindon, destroyed in an arson attack. The alarm was raised at 17 minutes past midnight last Saturday.
