Police release CCTV images after cash is stolen from pub’s fruit machine

Police have released CCTV images of three men they would like to talk to in relation to a theft of cash from a fruit machine in a Newhaven pub.

Three men were playing on the machine in the bar area of the Brewres Fayre pub in The Drove on Friday, October 30 from 9.50pm to 10pm.

A few days later it was discovered that the machine had been tampered with and £390 was missing from it.

The first man is described as white, skinny 6’, aged in his 20s, with short brown hair, a long shaped face and nose. He was wearing dark skinny jeans, a blue zip up hooded jacket with a black hooded top underneath.

The second man is white, described as 6’, aged in his 30s with dark, short hair and a tattoo on the back of his neck and was wearing a grey unzipped hooded top, white polo t-shirt and black trousers.

The third man is white, of stocky build, about 5’ 8”, with short dark hair, wearing a rugby style stripy top, faded blue jeans and Nike Air trainers.
