Police score with Peasmarsh Council

RYE Police have donated £250 to Peasmarsh Parish Council to fund new equipment to paint the white lines on the football pitch at The Maltings.

The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.

PCSO Becky Unicombe said: “This donation has enabled the parish council to make Peasmarsh’s local football pitch more appealing and easier to use for years to come.

“It’s a great resource for local children and adults alike and I am happy to be able to support them in any way we can.”
