Police seek men after taxi driver assault

Police are seeking two men they would like to speak to in connection with an alleged assault on a taxi driver.

Officers said the incident occurred between 2.10am and 2.30am on Sunday, November 22, in Crawley Down Road, East Grinstead.

Police said the taxi driver picked up two men, believed to be in their 20s, from East Grinstead town centre.

It is alleged the two men were causing a disturbance in the taxi and distracting the driver.

The driver refused to take them any further when one man grabbed him before making off.

No injuries were reported.
