Police seek witnesses to Worthing jewellery theft

THIEVES stole a large quantity of jewellery and cash from a home in Broomfield Avenue, Worthing, on Friday.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary which took place between 1.45pm and 9.35pm.

The jewellery stolen in the theft included rings, necklaces, bracelets and a 1970s square-faced Rolex watch as well as a quantity of US dollars.

Detective Constable Mandy Dunk said: “Did you see or hear anything suspicious?

“If you have any information or have been offered this jewellery for sale please contact police.”
