Officers will be in Rusper Road from 2pm to 4.30pm today (Friday March 20) asking people if they recall seeing a grey Volkswagen Jetta car in the road or the area.

They will be handing out leaflets with a picture of the same model and make of car on them.

Detective Chief Inspector Karen Mizzi of the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team said: “I am appealing for information from anyone who may have seen a grey Volkswagen Jetta in Rusper Road, Ifield or in the area.

“Officers are returning to the scene a week after the murder and will be talking to people and just asking them to stop for a moment to think about whether they were in the area at the relevant time and whether they saw this car or anyone acting suspiciously.”
