The council moved out of its previous home in North Street last month and is now office sharing Parkside, in Chart Way, with West Sussex County Council.

Now Uvee Developments has submitted an application to convert Park North and North Point into multiple apartments.

According to documents submitted by its agent current proposals would see the creation of 56 flats, but it states this is an approximate number.

When councillors agreed to dispose of the two buildings last year it was estimated that the authority could net £6m from the sale.

The application follows simiilar proposals for other former town centre offices as work has already started to convert the two remaining Horsham Gates buildings and Linden House into flats.
