Lloyd Russell-Moyle, The Labour Party, Brighton Kemptown

I was born in Brighton, studied at Sussex University, and still live here today.

I have served as Brighton Kemptown’s Member of Parliament since 2017, and as a Councillor in the East Brighton Ward before that.

It has been an honour to spend these past few years representing the community I love, and I hope to continue to do so.

Whether addressing the House of Commons, talking one-on-one with residents in policy and casework surgeries across the constituency, or supporting campaign groups like Hands off Peacehaven Community School, I will always be on your side.

From proposing a bill to curb rogue landlords and stop unfair evictions, to fighting to restore funding for youth services – a passion of mine from my earlier days working at the National Youth Agency and European Youth Forum – I am always active and outspoken on behalf of our community.

I speak with constituents day after day, and the messages are always the same - we need to feel safe, we need to be cared for, and we need opportunities for all.

Our police, our NHS, and our schools, all have been subjected to harsh and unnecessary cuts.

They deserve better than this, we all deserve better than this, and I will not rest until we get it.
