Plans lodged with Horsham District Council include the installation of new full-length windows, automatic sliding entrance doors, ATM, and new entrance ramp.

In November the Co-operative Group said it was in negotiations to open a new Co-op food store at the disused pub, and a month later plans were unveiled for twelve new homes on the site.

Under proposals the first floor of the main building would be split up into three flats, the outbuildings would be converted into three mews houses, while land to the rear would accommodate six new semi-detached houses.

A planning application has yet to be submitted to HDC.
