DC Leisure has announced a change of name to that of its new owner Places for People, one of the largest housing and property development companies in the UK.

The leisure provider, which is contracted by Horsham District Council to run the district’s leisure centres, said that while the branding would change over the next few months, it was business as usual for its facilities.

Tim Bolton, contract manager, said: “It’s an exciting time for the leisure centres and our customers.

“Our staff will be wearing new uniform and customers will notice new logos on leaflets and posters around the centre, but ultimately we will still deliver the same level of excellent service and varied programme of exercise classes.

“We will continue to be a community-minded facility bursting with passion and enthusiasm to get local people more physically active.”

Horsham district’s leisure centres, which include Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre, Pavilions in the Park, Billingshurst Leisure Centre, and Steyning Leisure Centre, offer a wide range of activities from parent and baby swimming, children’s sport courses and holiday activities and teen gyms.
