Will Elliott was elected to Lewes District Council, while Janet Baah is the newest councillor at Lewes Town Council.

Mr Elliott, who is also a town councillor, said: “I’d like to say a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who voted for us and who helped in our campaign. The Lewes Post Office is still under threat of closure and Library opening hours may be slashed too - I will continue to work with residents and the Lewes Lib Dems for the Post Office services to be moved into the Library, if it cannot be kept where it is “.
