Grant deadline is nearing for good causes in Arun

There are only two weeks left for voluntary, community and charity groups in the Littlehampton area to apply for the support from the Arun well-being joint small grants scheme.

The initiative is able to provide sums of up to £1,000 for non-profit organisations. Many previous applications received have been for smaller amounts of approximately £200 to £400.

Some of the recent grants have included £250 for community singing events, £105 for sporting equipment for a group representing disadvantaged people and £1,000 for a group of carers.

The deadline for the final round of applications is Friday, September 7, with submissions being considered by an appraisal panel in October.
