HDC RESULTS: Conservative elected in Rusper and Colgate

Former leader of Horsham District Council Liz Kitchen has been re-elected for Rusper and Colgate.

The Conservative candidate polled 1198 votes, with Tony Millson recording 224 votes for the Liberal Democrats and Green candidate Darren Jugurnauth receiving 192 votes.

Mrs Kitchen entered the election as the second longest-serving councillor at HDC.

The turnout in Rusper and Colgate was 75 per cent.
