HDC RESULTS: Green Party run Tories close in Rudgwick

Conservative candidate John Bailey has retained his Rudgwick seat despite a strong challenge from the Green Party.

After a recount, Mr Bailey was confirmed as the winner with 870 votes, with Graham Avery receiving 726 votes.

The turnout in Rudgwick was 75 per cent.
