The Liberal Democrats narrowly held Seaford Blatchington, finishing just 27 votes ahead of the UK Independence Party.

With 7,941 possible votes, the turn out was 35 per cent.

Carolyn Lambert (Lib Dem) 900 (32.1 per cent); Jeffrey William Titford (UK Independence Party) 873 (31.2 per cent); Paul Lawrence Franklin (Conservative) 702 (25.1 per cent); Agnes Ethel Wheeler (Labour) 194 (6.9 per cent); Roger Murray (Green) 133 (4.7 per cent).
