Plans for 160 homes on former Horsham Novartis site approved


The pharmaceutical giant shut down the site this summer and sold its land north of Parsonage Road to Linden Homes, whose scheme was given the green light by Horsham District Council’s Development Control North Committee.
At the last minute Sport England withdrew its objection to the proposals on the site, which housed Novartis’ staff car park, social club, football pitch, and tennis courts.

Hide AdAndrew Baldwin (Con, Holbrook East) felt ‘pleased’ they had achieved their target of 40 per cent affordable housing on such a large application, and commended Linden Homes for the way it had dealt with residents’ concerns and objections.
He added: “They have gone out of their way and done more than most developers would.”
