Second hustings for candidates on the stomp

Churches Together In Bexhill (CTIB) has organised a hustings meeting at 7.30pm on Tuesday, April 27, at which townsfolk can meet and question prospective parliamentary candidates for the Bexhill and Battle consituency in the forthcoming general election.

The meeting is being held at St Barnabas Church, Sea Road, Bexhill, in conjunction with the Rev Roger Crosthwaite, and will be chaired by the Rev Peter Timms, vice-chairman of CTIB.

Spokesman Ken Hutchinson said: "All candidates are welcome, whatever their political views, as are all members of the public.

"We hope to see a good turnout."

Organisers are aiming for lively but democratic debate on a range of issues likely to be of concern to local voters.
