Horsham District Council’s officers have recommended that DC Leisure’s application be approved by the council’s Development Control North Committee.

Both Denne and Forest neighbourhood councils have objected to the ten metre-high course, which is planned to sit within the boundary of Pavilions in the Park leisure centre.

The facility would be accessed from the leisure centre, and would include aerial walkways with obstacles, a climbing tower, and ground-based equipment.

The two neighbourhood councils have objected on grounds of the damage it will do to the visual impact of the park, and insufficient parking.
