Thumbs-up for no parking scheme

PLANS to introduce no parking at junctions in Rusper Road and Tylden Way, Horsham, has been given the go-ahead by North Horsham County Local Committee.

The proposal was contained in a report drawn up by County Hall highways experts. It covers:

The Rusper Way junctions with Gateford Drive and Giblets Way.

Tylden Way junctions with Sloughbrook Close, Uppark Gardens, Highdown Way and Bartholomew Way.

There will be no waiting at any time at all five junctions.

The report said commuter parking in Rusper Road blocked the vision of both pedestrian and drivers.

There was a similar problem in Tylden Way, particularly during school peak times, said the report.

Brad Watson OBE, Committee Chairman, said: “We gave the no parking proposals the go-ahead after considerable discussion and consultation with residents and interested parties.”
