Tony Dignum, cabinet member for growth, place and regeneration at Chichester District Council, said: “The pandemic has had a huge impact on businesses in our district and we are keen to support them as much as we possibly can.

“We appreciate that there are a number of Government grants available and knowing which to apply for can be confusing for businesses. Our hope is that this webinar will help make it easier for them to understand how they can claim the support that they are entitled to, and I would urge all businesses in the district to sign up.

“In the webinar, our team will cover all of the different grant options available, including support for those that have had to close during the current lockdown, as well as for those that have been able to stay open but have still been negatively impacted by the pandemic. A range of other grant schemes are still open for businesses that have been affected by the national restrictions in November 2020 and last year’s tier restrictions. Information on all of these grants, including eligibility details and how to apply, can be found at www.chichester.gov.uk/covidbusinesssupport.”
