Poor rail conditions causing major delays to Hastings trains

Trains out of Hastings are experiencing major delays due to poor rail conditions this morning (Friday, February 12).

Icy conditions between Lewes and Haywards Heath have been causing disruption to Southern services between these stations.

Trains are now able to run between Lewes and Haywards Heath, but delays of up to 45 minutes can be expected whilst services recover fully.

Poor rail conditions between LewesDisruption is expected to continue until 2pm.

Following poor rail conditions between Hastings and Tonbridge, Southeastern trains are once again able to run between these stations.

Trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes while services return to normal. 
Buses are supplementing trains between Hastings and Tonbridge.

This is expected to continue until 2pm.

Passengers may use Southern services on any reasonable route however, Southern services between Tonbridge and Redhill are also being disrupted because of poor rail conditions in the area.
