Popular Angmering quiz

ALMOST 70 people turned out for the latest quiz held by a horticultural group in Angmering.

Twelve teams took part in Angmering in Bloom’s quiz at the village hall, which was decorated with pots of spring bulbs and display boards showing past projects and events.

Questions were set by Phil Leverick and included a topical round for St David’s Day, of questions relating to Davids, and a picture round.

The proceeds from the event of almost £500 from the event will go towards Angmering in Bloom projects.

The group will hold its Easter Fayre on Saturday, April 12, at Pigeon House, High Street, from 2-5pm.

Admission is 50p and there will be craft stalls, a seed swap, and plant and cake sales.
