Popular landlord takes on marathon challenge
QUEEN’S Head at Icklesham landlord Ian Mitchell is taking on the Hastings Half Marathon this month to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
Ian, who divides his time between the Queen’s Head and the Royal Oak at Pett, is a veteran charity fund-raiser in the saddle, taking part in a number of sponsored cycle rides over the years, including one from London to Paris.
Now he is swapping cycling shorts for running shoes to take part in the gruelling event on Sunday March 25.
