Post office to reopen

THE post office at Vines Cross looks set to reopen. The branch, at Vines Cross Garage, has been closed since September 25 following the resignation of the previous postmaster. However, a spokesman for Post Office Ltd this week revealed that a new postmaster had been lined up to take over. He added that it was hoped it would be reopened by Christmas. A spokesman for Horam Parish Council said: 'We are delighted. It is so difficult for people to get to a post office outside Vines Cross. There is no public transport and no pavements.'
