Pound Hill church celebrates playgroup leader's birthday

The manager Worth Park Playgroup based at Crawley United Reformed Church, was presented with gifts from the church to mark her 60th birthday. On behalf of the Pound Hill church, the minister Rev Bridget Banks presented a card and flowers to Jackie Moore, who has been working with the playgroup for more than 25 years. In that time has formed a close working relationship with the church members.

The playgroup team surprised Jackie with gifts and cards and a hall decorated suitably with many references to a certain age. The Playgroup is an independent charity running at the church every weekday from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

It is one of the many midweek groups at the thriving church, which is currently undergoing a major building regeneration project. The group takes children aged two and a half up to school age.
