Pressure still on for crossing outside Felpham schools

County councillor George Blampied has vowed to keep up the pressure for a pedestrian crossing to be installed outside two Felpham schools.

Mr Blampied said the demand for the safety feature on Middleton Road in front of Bishop Tufnell CoE infant and junior schools had been rejected by county highways officers.

They said the usage of the road by walkers did not justify a crossing being put in.

But unhappy Felpham parish councillors asked Mr Blampied to continue pursuing the matter.
