Print studio open to public

RYE’S Woolstore Print Studio is open to visitors over the bank holiday weekend.

Work on show includes etchings, photographs and some previously unseen work by the late Jill Stott.

Michael Ratcliffe Stott, who is currently showing at The Boys Club in Mermaid Street at the Rye Society of Artists Summer Show, will be in the studio and will be happy to discuss and explain the processes of his work as a print maker.

This is an opportunity to view a working etching and printmaking studio complete with a 200 year old Hughes and Kimber star wheel printing press that is still in use today.

The Studio, at 111 Winchelsea Road, is open from 10am to 5pm Friday. Saturday, Sunday and Monday and is just a short walk from the centre of Rye opposite the River Haven Hotel.
