Last year’s event raised more than £3000 after hundreds of people attended.

As well as viewing the wonderful flowers and beautiful shrubbery on display members of the public will also be able to enjoy a cup of home made tea.

An Irish band will be playing throughout the day and visitors will also get the chance to browse and buy plants for various stalls.

Holmbush gardens play host to a collection of ‘Garden Rooms’ some formal and some more natural, all filled with a bounty of rare plants and shrubbery.

The grounds of Holmbush House extend for several acres and include woodlands, lawns and rose gardens which have been restored to their former glory over the past 15 years.

There are now an array of rhododendrons, bluebells and azaleas on display along with a collection of trees including Redwoods and the largest weeping beech trees in Sussex as well as plenty of grass terraces.

The gardens are located on the A264 just past Holmbush Farm.
