Professor to give talk on competition in Lewes

Regulating Competition in the UK will be the subject of a talk at the Council Chamber in Lewes Town Hall on Tuesday October 7 at 2.30pm.

It will be delivered by Professor Alasdair Smith and focus on UK competition agencies and discuss some cases that show the importance of independence, as well as the role of the competition authorities in relation to public services (the NHS, higher education) and future investigations, such as the energy market.
