A project set up to support local women and help them improve business and digital skills stages an exhibition early next month.
The Swift Project, funded by the Government Equalities Office in partnership with East Sussex County Council and Sound Architect, is designed to help women develop the confidence they need to use and take advantage of upgraded broadband being introduced nationally.
ESCC was one of only 16 authorities to secure funding for the programme and the project was visited last week by Minister for Culture, Minister and Sport, Sajid Javid.
The event on March 9 will showcase their business ideas.
Guest speakers include the Lord Lieutenant and ESCC Chief Executive. A film about the project will be screened.
Courses are running in Crowborough and people taking part come from Uckfield, Rotherfield, High Hurstwood, Heathfield, Etchingham, Broad Oak, Burwash, Nutley and Brightling.
