£3m given towards harbour's revamp
THE Government has awarded £3m to support the regeneration of the Shoreham Harbour area.
Adur District Council, Brighton and Hove City Council, the South-East England Development Agency and Shorehamp Port submitted a bid together in October after the area was given Growth Point Status.
The funding will cover the next two-year programme of development of one of the largest regeneration sites in south-eats England outside of the Thames Gateway.
