Public to help decide on Bognor hospital cash

Members of the public are needed to help healthcare professionals decide where health money is spent in our community hospitals such as Bognor Regis.

The town's war memorial hospital is the largest of the eight community hospitals around West Sussex with its 78 beds and minor injuries unit.

They are run by West Sussex Primary Care Trust. Eileen Clark, who is its lead officer for the hospitals, said: "We want to increase openness by involving the public in the development and provision of local health services. Meetings are on a monthly basis for about four hours and look at a wide range of initiatives to improve patient care."
