Public toilets in Place Lane Seaford to be revamped

THE PUBLIC toilets in Place Lane, Seaford, will be modernised by Lewes District Council.

These are amongst the most used toilets in the district so a temporary facility will be provided while the work is underway.

Lead councillor for health and environment Andy Smith said: “We identified Place Lane toilets as a priority for refurbishment in May and allocated a £61,000 budget for this project. The works are due to commence on 19 September and we expect them to be finished by December. They have been timed to follow this year’s main summer holiday.”
