‘Pud’ chasing Santas are coming to town

RUNNERS dressed as Santa will soon chase a Christmas pudding along Worthing Seafront in aid of British Heart Foundation (BHF).

A ‘Chase the Pud’ fundraising event will take place at Worthing Pier’s Southern Pavilion on December 14.

Participants will be able to choose to run a one or three-mile course.

A Santa costume will be provided for all adults and children under 14 can come in any fancy dress they like.

All money raised will help to fund BHF’s research.

Last year, the event raised more than £2,000 despite the torrential rain. The newly-formed Worthing BHF fundraising group hopes to beat that target this year
