Pupils fundraise to tackle poverty

Not only displayed for the parents, their work also aims to raise awareness and collect goods for Mary’s Meals, a charity which aims to provide meals and much more for a million children a day in poverty struck areas of many countries in Africa.

The exhibition include a multi-coloured elephant, instruments, poems, stories about African animals, woven mats, African style art, flags of all the African countries and information they had found out.

They also gathered items which to donate to Mary’s Meal, which aims to help the whole education process through improving health, encouraging play and helping teach.

A pile of small rucksacks were filled 
with pens, paper and pencils; clothing and toothpaste and toothbrushes and toys and balls.
