Pupils’ show helps Arundel school restock the art cupboard

Pupils of Arundel CE Primary School, in Jarvis Road, have been putting their artistic talents on display for parents and teachers.

More than 100 pieces of art, including colourful paintings of the town, portraits and vibrant abstract designs, were produced by pupils from years-one up to six.

But it wasn’t just pupils getting in on the artistic action. One-year-old Ava Meyer, daughter of year-four teacher Hayley Meyer also got involved, making some colourful hand paintings.

The exhibition, held in the school’s hall, was the brainchild of teachers Karen Walker and Jo Slatter to generate funds for the school’s art department.
