Question Time presenter auctions paintings

DAVID Dimbleby auctioned art to raise money for St Wilfrid's Hospice.

The broadcaster and journalist, who lives near Polegate, hosted the sale of two paintings at St Wilfrid's Hospice 25th anniversary Jubilee Ball.

The art work was created by David Hughes-Hazell, who attended the Day Therapy Unit at the hospice.

While at the hospice, Mr Hughes-Hazell created two canvases, Silver Dawn and Silver Sprite.

Other items were also auctioned at the sale.

Louise Teixeira, event fundraiser who organized the Ball, said: 'Thank you to everyone that donated the fantastic auction items. Our auction raised over 6000.'
