Rain didn't dampen spirits at Aldwick summer fair

RAIN failed to dampen spirits at an Aldwick seafront beauty spot's first summer fair.

The fair was staged by Arun District Council.

Its senior community parks officer, Helen Wilson, ensured the gardens’ 1930s shelters were full of stalls.

Ms Wilson said: “We want to have an annual event in the gardens to draw attention to its attractions.”
