Rainbow day for Children In Need

Charters Ancaster was brighter than usual when the children were challenged to wear as many colours as possible for their rainbow day.

The event was held to raise funds for BBC Children in Need.

For a small donation each child had fun ignoring the school dress code and took part in other activities including painting pictures of Pudsey Bear.

The nursery children also attended wearing fancy dress.

Head teacher Mr. Collins said "We have raised 90 today for Children in Need and fun was had by all."
