Raps the way to do it, kids

YOUNG Rye rail users have been recording their expriences of travelling on the transport system in the form of raps.

Passengers were invited to take part in a special project at Rye’s School Creative Centre this week where they can express themselves with the help of artists and sound recordists.

The Rother wide project was created for passengers on the Marshlink trains and the results will be available as downloads from this June.

Sally Lampitt, from the School Creative Cntre, said: “The 2012 Audiostories project invites all young poets, rappers and writers to create their own, unique interpretations of people and places.”
